Wes Gobar is an Evergreen co-founder and is on the advisory board after formerly serving as coalitions lead. He is currently a graduate student at the Yale School of the Environment and co-founder/director of outreach for the BlackOak Collective. Wes was recently recognized as one of Grist’s 2022 50 Climate Fixers and also sits on the advisory board for Climate Voice. Wes is a native of Fredericksburg, Virginia and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia. His work has been published in Vox and the Washington Post.
