Ben Unger is a member of the Evergreen advisory board. Ben was the deputy campaign manager for the Inslee for America campaign. He comes from a background of progressive politics and clean energy advocacy in Oregon. Most recently, Ben led Our Oregon, a public employee union nonprofit specializing in winning ballot measures, as their executive director. From 2012-2014 he served as a Democratic member of the Oregon House of Representatives. As a representative, he also worked as executive director of the Oregon Senate Democratic Leadership Fund. Prior to his election, Ben was the principal and founder of Tallfir, LLC and worked as a special assistant to the Attorney General for the Oregon Department of Justice. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and consults for the Georgia Alliance for Progress and for NextGen America on their renewable energy ballot measures in Nevada and Arizona.
