Molly Freed

Molly Freed

Molly Freed is a policy fellow with Evergreen. As a passionate climate advocate with roots in the green building industry, Molly has worked with policymakers and design teams around the world to incentivize and construct zero-carbon and carbon-positive buildings. She received her B.A. in Environmental Analysis at Scripps College before serving five years as the policy and programs manager at the International Living Future Institute. She recently completed an MPA in environmental science and Policy at Columbia University. Molly was raised in Seattle, WA but now lives in Brooklyn, NY, where she teaches a fundamentals of green building class to the people who build, renovate, and maintain buildings in New York City. In her free time, she enjoys throwing dinner parties and playing soccer at Brooklyn Bridge Park.
