Joy Jackson

Joy is the buildings policy lead on Evergreen's policy team. Prior to Evergreen, Joy worked for the D.C. Mayor’s Office where she managed data analytics and policy implementation for issues spanning affordable housing, economic development, and COVID-19 economic recovery. Prior to that, she worked in disaster management, helping state and local governments design, implement, and evaluate their disaster recovery programs. Joy holds an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. from Georgetown University, both focused on climate and environmental policy. Born and raised outside of Atlanta, GA, she now lives in Cambridge, MA, where she can be found running along the Charles River and fleeing south for the winter.
